Walnut Creek - The "Jewel of the East Bay"

Walnut Creek is a wonderful town right by the 680 and 24 freeways in the San Francisco East Bay Area. Known very well for its “Lifestyle,” we live in a buzzing community.

While it is considered a wonderful place to retire with the Rossmoor community, this is also an extremely vibrant town rich with shopping, restaurants, organic markets and cultural events. Our town is also known for the quality of schools.

Broadway Plaza is loaded with great shopping, there is the Lesher Center for the arts, and some of the greatest food joints you’ll ever find. Oh, and coffee is everywhere!

Mt. Diablo State Park is right nearby! There are some great golf courses, and even more in neighboring areas. And we also enjoy plenty of biking and hiking trails!

While Walnut Creek has typically been a very residential, single-family home prominent town, things have been changing. All of a sudden, major apartment buildings are getting built close to downtown Walnut Creek. With downtown already heavily congested and with a lack of parking, there is going to be a large influx of even more people over the next few years.

Homes in Walnut Creek California come in a variety of styles and prices.  Established Walnut Creek neighborhoods, including Joaquin Ranch, Estates of Walnut Creek, and Lakewood are beautifully landscaped and quiet.  Newer subdivisions in the Northgate area, including Rancho Paraiso, feature large, high-quality homes, many on large lots with expansive views.  For the house-hunter looking for a condominium or townhouse, Beacon Ridge and California Gardens offer interesting possibilities.
